I had the opportunity to live in New Brunswick one year and I want to share with you some of my experiences I had in this beautiful province.
I have arrived in NB, Canada in August 2012 in Fredericton, the capital city of the province. It was a sunny day, the leaves of the trees were already in autumn colors, everything was beautiful and the people were very friendly. I spent few days in Fredericton, a nice and quiet city with a special architecture and beautiful buildings.
It was the time to move to St Stephan, a small town which it was our home during the period I lived in NB. I worked in the famous chocolate factory Ganong which makes the best Chicken bones in Canada. St Stephan is located between Fredericton and St. John, and is surrounded by St Andrews and St George, it is also a border town with Calais, Maine from U.S.
St. Andrews is the most beautiful town in NB, almost every weekend I went there spending time on the shores of the Atlantic where you can find peace and beauty in the same place.
If you want to see large cruise ships go to St. John, another beautiful city in NB. Going on that way you have to pass through Pennfield, a small town where you can find the best fish and chips you have ever eaten. Not to far to Moncton, the largest city in this province, it is Hopewell Rocks, a place where you can walk on the bottom of the ocean during the water is retreat.
Grand Manan Island is the best place to see whales and traveling up there by ferry it is a real adventure.
New Brunswick is a bilingual province, surrounded by Quebec, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia and Maine, USA.
If one day you have the opportunity to go in that area, I strongly recommend you to visit New Brunswick and you will not regret.
