CLB7R Read a complaint letter from a customer or client to determine appropriate action.
Based on this letter, leave a note for your boss listing what the complaint is about and what should be done, if anything, about it. Post your note to your blog.

Hello boss,

Through this note, I want to inform you about a letter which we received from Stan Gooding, one of our customers. He is complaining about:
  • the service was very slow
  • when the meal finally arrived, the curry was cold
  • the waiter was rude and shouted at him and his friends
  • they were charged twice for the desert
Because we know that in our business the most important  thing is to satisfied the client, I ask you to let us (the team) straightening up the mistakes. I want to send a letter to Stan Gooding, to apologize about everything it happened and to invite him and his friends to come again for a free meal. I want to demonstrate them that what happened last time is not a part of our serving style and I want to do my best for the Bombay Tiger Restaurant.

The advantage of reading

Reading is one of the best exercise to keep your brain young. You can get older and older but reading helps your brain to get strong.
One thing which marked my opinion about reading it was the moment when I read the book "Gifted hands" by Ben Carson (the man who runs for the U.S Presidency). He wrote in his book how his mother banned him to watch TV, instead he had to read at least two books per week. This thing it was hard for him at the beginning but after a while he realized that he knew so many things which other children didn't know. The school results increased and from the child which did not love to study for school he became one of the most famous doctors in the World.
An advise I would like to give you is do not watch the movie instead read the book. Why? Because the movie is much poorer in essence than what the book contains. A book describes the action and it gives you many details which makes you to sea the actions in your mind. I have got to conclude this by myself when I read "The last sin eater" by Francine Rivers. This book is full of suspense and it keeps your attention so focused on action. After a while I found that is a movie based on this book and I was so curious for watching it. I was very disappointed because the action was so poor and without essence.
Reading a novel, history or love story book means that you will participate along with the main character to all the adventures, traveling to indescribable places and meeting other characters. When I read this kind of books I love to get into character's life and this it helps me to forget for a bit about my life.
I admitted I love to read but lately I didn't read to much and I miss that. I'm lucky because on Link Home Study Program and Blog I have to read articles, dialogues etc. That makes me to feel good because it helps me to learn English, it is an exercise for my brain, to keep it busy with good staff.

About me

My name is Adriana, this is my blog where I enjoy writing in English and I would like to introduce myself.
I was born 27 years ago in the most beautiful city in the world Brasov, in Romania. I am the 8th and the youngest child in my family. I grew up surrounded by love of parents and siblings and I can say that I had the most beautiful childhood that I could have.
Growing up surrounded by smaller kids I found out that I would like to have a career learning children and that was the moment when I decided to become a teacher. This thing had to happen four years later when I graduated Pedagogic Highschool. Two months after graduation I got a full time job as a kindergarten teacher. At the same time I was accepted at the local University to continue my studies in this field.
When I was in the third year of study I met a special man who became my husband two years later. We got married in August 2012 and at the of the month I left everything I had in Romania to start a new life in Canada beside the man who God gave to me. After three years of marriage God blessed us with a baby boy Timothy and He's still blessing us with others :)
Here are just few paragraphs about me and my life but I assure you that my life was full of unforgettable moments.

Easter in Romania

Easter is the most important holiday for christian people in Romania. Next weekend Romanian people celebrate Easter. They start to prepare for Easter 45 days before it when people stop eating meat, eggs and milk. While people prepare their bodies and souls for this holiday, they clean the houses and wash everything; these habits mean everybody and everything must be clean and pure.
Great Week starts on Sunday before Easter when people go to church to celebrate Flowers Sunday. This habit means Jesus's entry into Jerusalem and people touting him putting flowers on the ground, so Romanian People take blessed flowers from church, bring them home to bless the house and the people.
Great Thursday is the day when Romanian people go to church to eat Holly Bread and drink Holly Wine as Jesus did at Last Supper. Also in this day people paint eggs in the Romanian traditional manner. Red eggs were the norm due to the color’s association with Christ’s blood. On Great Friday Romanian women cook traditional food with lamb and make traditional sweets as Easter Bread and Pasca (cake made with cheese and raisins).
On Saturday before midnight people go to church where lights are dimmed and the candlelight, borne by the priest, is passed among the members of the congregation, who hold unlit candles. These candles may be taken home as a reminder of the service and to spread the holiness of the candles to their own homes. Only after this service people could eat meat.
Sunday or Easter Day people celebrate with their families and friends, enjoy eating all the traditional foods and especially playing the popular game knocking eggs together end-to-end. Monday is the second day of Easter, when people meet together having a BBQ and still celebrating the Holiday.

Loving Canada

Version 1

If one day somebody will ask me "why do you love Canada?" I have an awesome answer for him, I have so many reasons to love Canada. I do so because in my opinion is the best country where I can live.
Canada is a beautiful country with oceans and mountains, long rivers and magnificent lakes, impressive fauna and many more.
Canadian people help you fall in love with their country. They are extremely friendly and polite. As an immigrant I feel comfortable to live among Canadians; they become your friends very easy.
The economy in this country  is high. Canada offers a job, good salary, and a safe life.
The weather is not my favorite because I prefer high temperatures but Canada has places with various temperatures. If you prefer snow in the middle of July go up to Jasper's mountains or you can get a very hot day at the Pacific Ocean. Getting four seasons in one month it was weird but interesting to me.
As a parent, I'm very tankful to this society which sustained having children and it involves in their education.  The Government made and makes programs and activities for kids, school is free of charge and other extra activities are paid by them.

The family is the best environment to raise children

Version 1

I didn't know how amazing is to have children till I have had my little son, Timothy.
Having children is a blessing from God and a big opportunity to raise people with personalities. When a child is born, the parents have to provide him not the best things, but the most useful things as taking care of him and giving him a good education.
Family is the best environment for a child, or it is suppose to be the best one, not the State, not the Government, not the foster families and about this statement I will share with you a story.
On November 2015, in a small town in Norway, the child welfare system took five kids from a Romanian family and split them in tree foster families, even the tree months baby who was breastfeeding. The reason why the child protection system came and took the children it was that the oldest daughter told to her teacher that the mother gave her a slap. The child welfare system didn't investigate the problem, they planed to do this in May 2016. The people from Romanian Government went to Norway to discuss this problem and Romanian people around the World protest and ask to Norway Government to solve the problem. The Romanian community in Vancouver, made a protest two weeks ago, on Family Day, in front of Norway Embassy in Vancouver with hope that children will go back to family as soon as possible.
As a parent I cannot imagine somebody taking my children, give them away in other families and to cannot see them only once a month, it is cruel, it is inhumane.
I hope this story will have a happy end and I pray God helps this family to pass this hard situation.

Some thoughts about New Brunswick

Version 1

I had the opportunity to live in New Brunswick one year and I want to share with you some of my experiences I had in this beautiful province.
I have arrived in NB, Canada in August 2012 in Fredericton, the capital city of the province. It was a sunny day, the leaves of the trees were already in autumn colors, everything was beautiful and the people were very friendly. I spent few days in Fredericton, a nice and quiet city with a special architecture and beautiful buildings.
It was the time to move to St Stephan, a small town which it was our home during the period I lived in NB. I worked in the famous chocolate factory Ganong which makes the best Chicken bones in Canada. St Stephan is located between Fredericton and St. John, and is surrounded by St Andrews and St George, it is also a border town with Calais, Maine from U.S.
St. Andrews is the most beautiful town in NB, almost every weekend I went there spending time on the shores of the Atlantic where you can find peace and beauty in the same place.
If you want to see large cruise ships go to St. John, another beautiful city in NB. Going on that way you have to pass through Pennfield, a small town where you can find the best fish and chips you have ever eaten. Not to far to Moncton, the largest city in this province, it is Hopewell Rocks, a place where you can walk on the bottom of the ocean during the water is retreat.
Grand Manan Island is the best place to see whales and traveling up there by ferry it is a real adventure.
New Brunswick is a bilingual province, surrounded by Quebec, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia and Maine, USA.
If one day you have the opportunity to go in that area, I strongly recommend you to visit New Brunswick and you will not regret.

My home country, Romania.

My home country, Romania is the most beautiful country in the world. Bucharest is the capital city of Romania. I think everyone knows about Romania trough the legend of Dracula from Transylvania. My hometown Brasov is located at 20 km distance to Dracula's Castle. The Romanian people are very friendly and no worries, they don't eat people as Dracula did :))))) .
I like my country because it has beautiful mountains, surrounded by plateaus with rivers, especially Danube river which flows into the Black Sea forming the Danube Delta.
Romania has a rich tradition kept from the forefathers with various unique folklore dances and games are common. We have some traditional food as cabbage rools, sour soups, polenta with fresh cottage cheese, bread - made it in the stove and many others.
